PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA DENGAN METODE DISCOVERY LEARNING

Abstrak
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa pada pembelajaran tematik dengan model discovery learning. Jenis penelitian yang dilaksanakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar Negeri Klegung 3 Kabupaten Sleman Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan mengobservasi aktivitas siswa. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 5 orang siswa (15,625%) yang memberikan pertanyaan terkait dengan pembelajaran tematik, siswa yang memberikan pendapat sejumlah 7 orang (21,875%), dan iswa yang mengumpulkan tugas tepat waktu sebanyak 27 orang (84,375%). Tahap selanjutnya adalah menggunakan metode Discovery Learning dan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 14 siswa yang memberikan pertanyaan (43,75%). Siswa yang memberikan pendapat sejumlah 16 orang (50%). Pengumpulan tugas tepat waktu dilaksanakan oleh 30 orang siswa (93,75%). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model discovery learning dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa pada pembelajaran tematik kelas kelas III SDN Klegung 3 Sleman DIY.
The purpose of this study is to increase student learning activities in thematic learning with the discovery learning model. The type of research carried out is classroom action research. The subjects of this study were third grade students of Klegung 3 State Elementary School, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region Province, which 32 students involved. Data collection is carried out by observing student activities. The analysis technique uses descriptive analysis. The results showed that there were 5 students (15.625%) who gave questions related to thematic learning, students who gave a total of 7 assignments (21.875%), and 27 students who collected on time (84.375%). The next stage is to use the Discovery Learning method and shows that there are 14 students who ask questions (43.75%). There were 16 students (50%) who gave their opinion. The collection of assignments on time was carried out by 30 students (93.75%). This shows that the discovery learning model can increase student activity in class III thematic learning at SDN Klegung 3 Sleman DIY.
