Abstrak

Abstract

This study aims to describe the plot structure presented in the novel “Hujan” by Tere Liye. This study uses a qualitative method. The data in this study are  quotes or utterances related to the structure of the plot. The informant in this study was Mr. Khatib Lubis, S.S., M.Sc who understands or masters the novel studied by the reseacher. The plot structure in the novel "Hujan" includes (1) the setting stage, (2) the conflict emergence stage, (3) the conflict escalation stage, (4) the climax stage, and (5) the settlement stage.
