ANALISIS KESALAHAN PENGGUNAAN PREPOSISI PADA KARANGAN EKSPOSISI SISWA KELAS X SMK NEGERI 1 AEK NABARA BARUMUN

Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to describe the errors in the use of prepositions in exposition essays for tenth grade students of SMK Negeri 1 Aek Nabara Barumun in Sayur Matua Village, Aek Nabara Barumun sub-district, Padang Lawas district, North Sumatra. This research had been conducted for 3 months, from July to September 2022. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The data collection technique used in this study is the document technique. The results of this study showed that there were 23 errors in the use of prepositions in exposition essays for ten grade students students of SMK Negeri 1 Aek Nabara Barumun. The most frequently found errors in the use of prepositions were the preposition di (14 errors), preposition kepada (3 errors), preposition daripada (2 errors), preposition ke (3 errors), preposition dari (1 error). Furthermore, 7 student exposition essays with no errors use of the preposition.
