KESALAHAN BERBAHASA DALAM MEDIA SOSIAL DI KALANGAN MAHASISWA INSTITUT PENDIDIKAN TAPANULI SELATAN PADA KAJIAN FONOLOGI

Abstrak

This study aims to describe language errors on social media, namely the pronunciation in the videos of students of the South Tapanuli Institute of Education. This research was conducted by applying qualitative descriptive, this research method is to use the method of documentation. The data source is the documentation taken from Facebook, the documentation is used for data collection. This research was conducted in the library of the South Tapanuli Education Institute. The results show 13 errors in non-standard pronunciation and phoneme changes, phoneme additions, and phoneme omissions, then what often happens is phoneme change and phoneme omission. Based on the results of the research errors occur because students do not know the error because it is considered correct and there are also factors because the way of speaking is too fast.
