KESALAHAN BERBAHASA PADA PENULISAN MEDIA LUAR RUANG DI BARUS TAPANULI TENGAH

Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to know the form of language errors in writing standard and absorption words on of shop sign in Barus. The method of this study used qualitative descriptive method. This research was conducted at 7 locations in Barus, namely Pasar Terandam, Pasar Batu Gerigis, Bukit Hasang, dan Kedai Gedang. The results of the research showed there were 21 shop signs that use standard words which included 7 errors in writing standard words including: praktek dokter, bunga photo, namura photo, praktek gigi, dan praktek umum and 14 writing errors absorption words include: cellular, service, cosmetic, coffee, café, cumputer, service, accessories, photo copy, foto copy, service, coffee.
