ANALISIS KESALAHAN BERBAHASA DALAM EJAAN PADA PENULISAN DAFTAR MENU KAFE DI KECAMATAN BARUS

Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to find out how the errors of capital letters and standard words in writing a list of cafe menus in Barus District. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive technique. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Based on the results of research conducted from 7 internet cafes studied in Barus sub-district, there were 27 errors which were divided into two types of capital letter errors, namely the writing of place and area elements as many as 8 error data and initial writing. capital letters as many as 21 errors. At Cafe Pal 7 there were 6 errors, at Kafe Sinar Agung Resto there were 4 errors, Kafe Binasi Beach also had 4 errors, Metro Coffee House had 5 errors and Lapo Kafe had 3 errors. Haykel's cafe has 3 faults and Tamara's cafe has 2 faults. Of the 27 data, there are 14 errors in the standard word category. Then the capital letter errors that fall into the non-standard word category are 13 data.
