GAYA BAHASA RETORIS CERAMAH SYEKH ALI JABER DALAM TAYANGAN DAMAI INDONESIAKU DI TV ONE EPISODE HAKIKAT WAKTU DAN RENUNGAN TENTANG WAKTU TANGGAL 3 JANUARI 2021

Abstrak

This study aimed to describe the style of rhetorical language which includes: apofasis (preterisio), apostrophe, asyndeton, polysyndetone, euphemism, litotes, pleonasm and tautology, periphrasis, prolepsis (anticipation), and erothesis (rhetorical questions) in Sheikh Ali Jaber's lectures in the broadcast "Damai Indonesiaku” on TV One episode “the essence of time and reflection” on the time of January 3, 2021. The type of research used a qualitative descriptive method. The data in this study are transcripts and video recordings of Sheikh Ali Jaber's lectures. Data collection techniques uses observations and video transcripts. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The data reduction stage is to summarize and select the main things. Data presentation, researcher presented data by narrative writing and grouped the data based their respective categories. The conclusion drew analyzing  the relationship and confirming  data and theory. The results showed that the rhetorical style of apofasis (preterisio) 1 sentence, apostrophe 1 sentence, asyndeton 1 sentence, polysindeton 1 sentence, euphemism 1 sentence, litotes 1 sentence, pleonasm and tautology 2 sentences, periphrasis 1 sentence, prolepsis (anticipation) 1 sentence, and erotica (rhetorical question) 1 sentence).
