ANALISIS GAYA BAHASA PADA KUMPULAN PUISI CHAIRIL ANWAR

Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to describe some contradictory figure of speeches in Chairil Anwar’s poetry. This study used a qualitative research type. The approach of the research used qualitative by applying descriptive method. The data of this research were quotations in a collection of poetry by Chairil Anwar which showed contradictory figure of speeches. The validity of the data used triangulation. From several poems by Chairil Anwar, the writer chose eight poems namely: Penghidupan, Taman, Penerimaan, Kesabaran, Doa, Sajak Kepada Peminta-Minta, Sajak Aku, Sajak Diponegoro. The results of the research showed there were four contradictory figure of speeches which included Litotes, Irony, Hyperbole, Ineundo.
